Dr. John Korkees graduated with honours from University of Windsor, where he earned a Bachelor of Kinesiology, majoring in Movement Science. He then went on to obtain his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. During his education at CMCC, Dr. Korkees has successfully treated a diverse group of patients, ranging from young to geriatric populations.
Dr. Korkees focuses on the most current, evidence-based research when designing treatment plans. He implements treatment protocols that are tailored to individual patient needs in order to provide patients with the most comprehensive care possible. His treatments include diversified adjustment technique, soft tissue therapy, and therapeutic modalities, while emphasizing the importance of movement and exercise. Having been born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, Dr. Korkees is humbled to return home and provide chiropractic care to the community of Windsor-Essex County.
Chiropractic is a non-invasive, hands-on health care discipline that focuses on the musculosketal system. Chiropractors use a manual approach in order to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions related to the joints, muscles, ligaments, and nervous system. Chiropractic care is effective is treating both a variety of acute and chronic conditions from headaches and neck pain to low back pain and sprained ankles.
Treatment plans may include chiropractic adjustments/mobilisations of the spine and/or other joints, soft tissue therapy, myofascial release techniques, nerve flossing, therapeutic exercises, interferential current therapy (IFC), and therapeutic ultrasound.
